French Bordeaux Chateau Lariveau

Chateau Lariveau

Acreage ..................................... 14.82 acre

Grape varieties ..........................100% Merlot

Age ............................................. 40 years

Soil ............................................. clay and sandy limestone

and calcareous clay facing south-southwest

Harvest: by hand

Vinification: treading a gentle extraction. The wine

is for 18 months in barrels of 400 liters and 600 to

conform with the finesse and fruit.

Tasting: Intense purplish supported. On the nose

the wine is very open, very fine relays red fruit,

currant, and fromboise flower (peony pink) all enhanced

by woody notes and taoste. On the palate the wine

is dense, complex, with a balance between the freshness

of fruit and velvety tannins chocolate.


 

French Bordeaux Château La Fleur D’horus St Emilion Grand Cru

Château La Fleur D’horus St Emilion Grand Cru 

Acreage ..................................... 1.16 acre

Grape varieties .......................100% Merlot

Average age .................................35 years

Soil ...............................Gravelly sandy clay

The Harvest:

Hand, in pure and perfect ripeness and after

the first sorting in the ranks harvest in crates.

Has passed the destemmer followed by a second

sorting by hand.

Winemaking:

They are traditional with a pre-fermentation

and fermentation to extract flavors wrinkling  - pumping

After malolactic fermentation, barrel aging in

¾  new barrels and barrel from one
 
Intense and vivid color Fairly complex nose dominated by

blackcurrant and spices lightly toasted oak. Beautiful harmony on the palate. Already

very pleasant wine with a fat attack and very soft tannins. Seductive wine to drink now,

but can evolve favorably 3 to 5 years.

Acreage ....................................... 1.16 acre

Grape varieties ..........................100% Merlot

Age ................................................20 years

Soil .................silty clay beside the Dordogne

alluvial plain land called "Pallu"

Harvest: mechanical

Winemaking: winemaking are made at low temperatures.

The wine is in barrels for 24 months. in was in a 225-liter

casks of wine and 400 liters. and about 20% are in new oak.

Tasting: purple, ruby color pretty intense. On the nose

balanced fruitss black (cherry, blackcurrant) and notes

grilées, smoke and tobacco. On the palate the wine is

dense, but with melted tannins ... and a nice fruity return.




 

French Bordeuax Château La Croix Taillefer

Château La Croix Taillefer

Acreage ........................................14 acre

Grape varieties ......................100% Merlot

Age .............................................35 years

Soil ..................................gravelly soil and

subsoil iron filth

Harvest: by hand are in crates, then sorted

at the winery.

Winemaking:  Fermentation is carried out

slowly in stainless steel tanks.   Fermentation

lasts from 3 to 4 weeks following the vintage. 

After malolactic fermentation the wine is

aged in new French oak barrels.  The wine

is clarified with egg white.   The bottling is

done 18 months after harvest.

Tasting: Very nice garnet color with ruby highlights.

The nose opens with ripe red fruit with notes of vanilla.

The attack is still strong and leaves room for a pleasant

roundness where the fruits continue to speak, before giving

way to a refreshing, woody finish.
